Venture Concept No. 1

My opportunity belief is a service for all UF students starting with freshmen that have no idea on how to cook but the other market is for parents that don't have the time or any idea on how to cook. Today, college students eat trash and that is why so many diseases and obesity is going around like crazy. Even one of my roommates has the same problem of eating cereal 4 times a day instead of actually meal prepping something full of nutrients and rich of protein to survive each day. This ideology of people eating shit is strong and the excuse everyone gives is the lack of cooking knowledge or even just to buy food, students have no idea of what to buy. My service will provide the students who wish to have a healthier diet on how to buy, cook and eat appropriately. They can do so by registering my mobile app or website and getting updated lists of more than 50 recipes per protein to make. It is really interactive and full of good stuff for them. Once they register, they will have the ability to choose from different meal plans.. day-to-day or seven-day plan. This will include breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. The protein of their selection will automatically give so many options to choose from with the same ingredients to be efficient and not having to buy different food every single day. Promotions and discounts will be applied and there will be a point system, so when they get to certain level of points, they can get free food for a week or whatever the point system tells them they can get. The moment they place the order, it will be added to a cart system just like Amazon and there will be 24/7 assistance on products and website help for people that need to get their food ASAP. Currently, the customers are satisfying their need by buying shit they don't even know how to cook it or buy just buying cheap fast food that will keep affecting their health. I think this opportunity is big for my target customers because the students will always need food and instructions on how to cook that food in a fun interactive college way. I think this opportunity has the potential to be successful because the customers are already there, the students always eat, but my idea will improve the service they are currently getting to a more convenient, time-efficient, and modern checkout system. I believe the window of opportunity it is huge because there is barely any competition. This innovative service will be charged to the customers online through a debit/credit card that will save in the website for future shopping. There is not a price set just yet for this service but doing a little price market research that can be set in no more than one month before starting this company. This venture concept will solve my customer's time problems. For us, time is crucial and we have to spend it wisely in order to have a successful academic performance, that's why my online checkout service will help the students use their time properly and efficiently. This service will benefit everyone, the students for the reasons mentioned. In my idea, there can be the risk more people copy it and they might wanna switch but the service will be so good they would not even think about that. The major competitor there is for my business idea is online shopping for big grocery stores like Walmart, Target, Publix, Aldys, etc. Many people find e-commerce more convenient and accessible because of the amount of technology we implement in our daily life but this will save them time and effort on how to get a balanced diet. One of the weaknesses of my company is that because of its a new thin.... most people don't like to go out of their comfort zone and try new things. Another weakness would be that if your device dies, you are no longer able to order food or to know how to cook it, so you depend on technology hard for this one. I think the most important resource for my idea is the business plan because I think that if everything goes as planned and people start getting interested in it, it would be a success. Not only will my company focus in Gainesville only but I would expand to other cities within Florida just as a start. In 5 years with this venture, I would be working at my job and have the satisfaction of knowing that I did something good to improve other student's life when I needed this help in my life as a college student.
